West Coast Nationals at Las Vegas

Im totally up for a "tailgate" party, just hang out, grill some eats and have a few drinks....Im sure the place will be filled with tire smoke before you know it, ;-)


BTW, Anyone want to give a poor starving college kid who cant afford a TB a ride? I need my Fix of Turbo power.

Ive only ridden in one TB, it was pretty much stock, I wanna feel what an 11-12 sec ride feels like, :D
 
John, Show up Friday night for MIDNIGHT MAYHEM. Passengers allowed. I just took a buddy for a 10 second ride Friday night.
 
We are very excited about going this year. We have made some changes to the Buick.... hopefully we can best our best time..

cant wait until we get there.

We are probably going to take the motorhome down and stay in that in the parking lot so we can kinda keep an eye on the cars like we did last year.

As I remember the last time I was at the Silverton, it is right next to a RV campground and there is a large parking lot there too. Good place for the "party" and parking the GN's especially if you and dad are watching them Jason.:)
 
the rv park could be a good thing. maybe we could designate a section to rope off the cars or something. Is Dick Kerney bringing his motorhome?

he is one funny SOB . lol
 
I would be really surprised if Dick wasn't coming; he's been a great supporter for this event.
Speaking of missing people, where's the Pacific Northwest people this year?
Can you believe that we only have to wait one more month?!!!
 
Come on now........ The casino is western themed. Silverton has a pretty large bar that we could all take over like at Main ST. last year:D Wow did I get a bit smashed!!
Silverton has an outdoor pool, table games, slots machines etc. Anyways, I will be paying Silverton a visit to talk to security about the cordoned off area we would like to have in the east parking lot. I should have a few more details on the subject by Friday.
I believe because of the price of rooms, the much improved surrounding area, larger casino, straight shot down 15, shuttle service to the strip, off the beaten path and not as busy of a hotel..... we will be better off in the long run, not to mention that when dealing with the group room reservation people you get a feeling that your actully wanted there. There are only about 45 rooms left as of about an hour ago. We booked 120 to begin with. Reserve your rooms as soon as possible because there is not much time left.
Talk about not posting for some time now.... I almost forgot how too :eek:

Anybody up for a group craps play? Maybe we could round up enough players to take over a table? If noit craps, what about Pai Gow poker??
 
I'm ashamed to admit that I've lived here for 7 years, and still have never (nor know how) to play craps. I mean, I know the basic rules, roll a 7 or 11 and you win. Roll anything else, and you have to roll that again before a 7 or 11. But I don't understand COME, PASS, etc.

Same lack of knowledge with Pai Gow.

Nothing to be ashamed of, we could have a Craps 101 class. No better place to learn then Vegas, as there are plenty low limit tables! $1 to play, sometimes ever .25 cent action can be found in the Freemount area. Same low limits ($5) goes for Pai Gow, you can't find a cheaper place to play!

Me and the G/F should be in town around 10am or so on friday, I plan to be at the track all I can. Maybe even try to smoke a few Hon-duhs at this midnight mayham thing with my VW :D

I dont know if I can handle a 10 sec ride, especially when Im not in control,lol

A B.F.T.P. sounds like the ticket. Breakfast at the Rio is a great set up also if anyone is interested. I'm sure Bruce and myself will be at a black jack table somewhere. Anyone wanna play first base? We can break the bank. It is gonna be great to see a lot of the people I talk with on a daily basis and never have met. Looking forward to seeing all that show. Mark

A new class....I love it. Winner to be whoever can take a fast car and make it the slowest.

And yes Jack, I plan on being there. In my engineless (at the moment) S2 car. So as you can see I'm a shoe-in winner for the new class.

But I don't understand this year's group of racers. They talk about camping, beer, guns, and cars which of course are necessary ingredients of any red blooded American guy's upbringing, but they've left out the main ingredient....hookers.

WHY ISN'T ANYONE DISCUSSING HOOKERS?

We need more info on prices, attributes, specialties, hours, availability, etc.

Please change the "Smack" page to something like "In the Sack" or "Nice Rack" or my favorite...."If ya wanna get paid go collect from Jack".
 
Well, ahem. Blue Diamond Road (the road Silverton is on) is a straight shot to Pahrump. So basically Chris, you can have your wish granted LEGALLY, in just about a 45 minute drive (or in your car, more like an hour!:D )
