What did you do to your GN/TR today?

I started the one with the engine in it late last night!!! Man it sounded good. Alas, only backed it out of the garage to move it over so a buddy could park his Harley in there for the day. I listened to it for about 3 cigs and a beer.

I stared longingly at the gn this morning as I pulled the 5.0 into the garage. A new job 50 miles away, the escort's down, the wife drives the Jimmy, blah blah blah... The 5.0 gets 25 to 27 mpg, so that's my ride for now. Plus it keeps miles off the gn!

Took my Tial wastegate off, put in another spring so i can run 23lbs without it bleeding off at 15psi like before. Putting it back on, and then drive to work later tonight!

filled up my tank half way with C16 for Thursday night racing... i need to get some seat time launching off the foot / trans brake...

Not today but past week....

It was an action packed week.I finally put the 3"THDP on. Hat also took care of major exhaust leak. So far Im up 2 car 0. Enjoyed a great cruise Sat night. Couldnt wail on it (knock over 10 psi). Sunday starter went. Car 1. It was a lot easier than expected. Monday took her to Cottons to get tuned... Time will tell. I hate suspense. Good luck to all those other TR that are down. Just know we all been there b4, and will return.

SLEEPING...is what my car is doing. Too hot to drive, not to mention the infamous Power Master is dead. Its awaiting new parts to come in. Once thats done, its time to smog the car  and pay the 3 month late registration.

did do anything to mine today. still over seas but she is sleeping awaiting a new power plant

I put fog/driving light combos. on salvageV6 the WE4.

Right on the front bumper between the parking lamps and the vertical bumper guards.

Good thing the bumper is dented because each one required (2) 5/16" holes to mount them and run the wires through.

JC Whitney's I've had for about 13 years now. :p :D

Oh and drove about 40 miles too. :)

Wiring and final aiming to be done tomorrow.

I watched the neighbor drive by on a joy ride in my car.

He is storing it for me while I build my new house. I don't have time to drive it until the house is done, so I told him to take it out once in a while. Yes I trust him, we've been racing for years together.

Very different to see your car on the road, usually your in it and don't know what it looks like going down the road. I now remember why I won't sell it. After he passed my house, I heard him stop and bring the boost up on the foot brake. He laid a big nasty right down our new asphalt. !00 ft or better, right next to the one from his firebird.

Nothing sounds like a turbo Buick spooling up.

I checked on it's progress at the body shop. In for door skin replacement and new paint. They can't believe how straight it is for 100k miles!!!

got the front stage mocked up. rockford 6 1/2 componets power series in the kick panels. couldnt stand it so i hooked up a p400 (rf 400 watt 2 ch amp) to all 12 speakers AND bridged the amp on the temporary sub. sounded good so far:biggrin: slow at the shop got to work on it almost all day:cool:

Went out to the garage and put some new parts in the trunk I got a while back...I need to fix it but I just have no time. Though I was informed that I may need to move in a few months so my girlfriend says I need to get it running because it will be much easier to move. I have 3 weeks of vacation time at work so I may take a week and fix it.

Had to custom mount the speakers to my doors. Spent about 4 hours doing it today which including making the passenger side mount and doing all the wiring. Spent 3 just making a mount the other day for the driver's side. Everything else was already done.

Put a new CAI on the GS and almost finished installing PL with LC1 in the GN. Got everything put back together before finding out that I do not have any antiseize here for the DP bolts. Tomorrow I should be able to replace the DP screws and fire that mother up.

Well guys, I can't do anything to my (our) GN right now or for the this week as I am traveling (in Houston) on business. Lucked out and borrowed my bosses old laptop and am now able to get online in the evening. :p

To stay true to the subject, I have the following sitting in the garange waiting to install (just bought this stuff on good deals)....

- Old ATR radiator positive radiator charge kit
- Custom aluminum finned differential cover with embossed GN lettering that will be going on as soon as i can get-er-done. Rear is hopping....again
- Stretch SLIC I picked up from a friend of a friend, but am waiting on finding (or rebuilding) a fresh turbo to go with it
- Garyk1970 will be giving me instruction on polishing the door sills, can't wait for that as it will look beautiful

the list will continue.....

I finally ordered some gauges for my car last night. I took it out for a nice run today as well with the T-Tops off, which is always fun.

Drove mine to work everyday this week. I've put 264.3 miles on it in the last week. It was out of commission for 1 year due to stupid sh*t and a lack of time/ funds. It's absolutely amazing to feel boost on a daily basis again.

So to all those with a driveable car, and sunshine or moonlight- DRIVE IT:D

i have starred at it for over a week now sitting in the garage with a crap load of dust on it. The weather has been hot and dry for weeks here. I was thinking about pulling it out and washing it so it could rain on it. That would be the first time i would be happy for it to rain on it.

My grass has died and the trees are starting to lose there leaves here because of the drought....

BRING ON THE RAIN........................
