Beautiful day Sunday. Drove to a "Buick Car Club of America" sponsored "all GM " car show at a local Buick dealership. First car show I have attended that involves judging. Approx 200 registered cars in attendance, including some rare and badass rides.
When I got there and was getting settled, I noticed two more gorgeous GN's driving in. Managed to corral them so we could all park together. My totally stock ride is on the far left, "NatiBeastCat's ( Justin ) in the middle , and Matt's on the far right. Justin just got his back on the road , this after new paint and having the motor modded somewhat and gone through by Brian Lorenz. Matt's car is a culmination of a multi-year GNX clone build, complete with all the GNX suspension . It is REALLY a nice ride.
I know it might not sound like much, but it does to me. My car won a "top 50 cars" award as well as Matt. (Justin had to leave, but I am sure he would have won one as well.) A good time had by all.View attachment 304530 View attachment 304531

Last night I removed the 4x10's and installed some 6x9's using the adapters. Very nice upgrade if! [emoji41]

I was debating this too. It is cool to see the iconic interior of this car from the outside. But all black on these cars is a bad ass look. For me, I wanted the all black look but I also rarely drive with the windows up so most people won't see the side tint anyway, they will see the interior. In fact, I think my windows are down more than they are up even in the garage. Plus, the tint can help extend the life of the interior in high sun areas, although you don't have to go as dark as I did. All personal preference.

Getting ready for scanmaster g, moved fuel pressure gauge to the hood.

Still dicking with adjusting the side windows to seal well against the new seals. Get it fitting great when window full up shutting door, then not so much testing rolling up and down DOH! After 3 hrs adjusting everything it's still not yet perfect.

Well after putting in over 20 hours just adjusting the side windows, had to finally call it good enough. Can't get rid of all the window noise with the new seals and ttop config adding to the challenge.

Nice to be driving the GN again.

Noticed a few days ago that my rear bumper looked uneven and not horizontal to the ground. Off by about half an inch which is more that the diff between rear wheel well height..yes I did think of that. WTH must have cockeyed from those hard launches at the track once a year. [emoji39]

Drove here out to Paso Robles for some wine tasting...road trip with my babe and Buick. Life is good!
