What did you do to your GN/TR today?

My car hasn't ran for 1 year and 7 months and I haven't seen my car in 8 months and counting. :frown:

i hear you. last time my car ran was at the WCN November 24,2006 It lifted a head and now the motor is currently over at zimmermans and should be ready by the time i get back from the desert.

This last weekend I was busy installing a wideband LC-1, XD-1 guage, powerlogger and Greddy Profec-B Spec-II boost controller.:D Next weekend I'll be installing 60lbs injectors and Razor's Alky kit.:D :D:cool:

Started mine to see if the mass air flow fairy fixed mine overnight...she didn't. Guess I better start searching.

I drove it 48 miles round trip to work and back. Gave it an oil change and filled it with gas also.

just sitting in the garage collecting dust (waiting for PINKS vegas)

Make us TR guys proud when they do come. Don't forget to set the Tranny Brake..LOL
Went to the track.. Got Rain, waited.. got pass.. sucked.. rain.. waited..got pass.. not my best but better 60' not trying hard..Woo HOO H&R. rain...Left..Oh look its turning nice. **it. Back into the garage and Hit the trailer....2 inch scratch...No one to kill but myself---where's my Gun, The one the Govn't doesn't know about???:frown:

On Happier note Ran 11.79 and 1.73 60ft with only 23 lbs boost, so much tuning so little time, I do Love mustangs with Nos though...As Arnold would say. "You make me laugh". No disrespect to the SERIOUS 'Stang owners w/o NOS

Put new 6x9 speakers in. Only problem is she is now my 84 mile-a-day daily driver. :( Looking at a '93 Ford Escort station wagon to fix that problem.

i was sitting here eating cereal and read this and blew milk out my nose:biggrin:

after work i finished the reassembly on my cars' interior after the new paint lob. reinstalled the inside quater window trim, seat belts, door stills, panasonic cd player, etc. stood back and looked at the paint and was glad of how well it turned out. then noticed i lost another centercap:mad:

I must agree, it's beautiful. I'm jealous.

oh yeah, i hooked up your(zeus87gn) horn to your alarm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I love it....still have to test it. Kimberly says thank you and can't wait for her fancy key fob. Strange, but I swear the sirens are quieter now? Or is it just cause the horns are so loud?

We will have more to add to this thread on saturday.....

Spent some time with a run or two up and down the highway checking to make sure my boost control settings in the Translator Pro are working.
Ummm, YUP.

I went into the garage and talked to her about how she was feeling since the new upgrades and our outing this past weekend.
She told me she loves to run C16 and wants to go out and play some more. I had to let her down easy tho, and tell her it was too wet outside to go play right now, but maybe later this weekend. Major storms moving through last night.
If it cools off some, I gotta install my new brake booster assembly and prop valve. Not too mention the RJC crank pulley. It never ends.
A little TLC goes along way with these cars.

Kicked a seemingly low front right tire and a possum dropped out from underneath. Car is in the garage, must have snuck in there when I was feeding the cat.

I bought a 118k bone stock 1986GN a month ago, this weekend I installed a NOS wastegate solonoid, replaced some vacuum hoses, installed an adjustable wastegate, and replaced that restrictive POS airfilter box with a 9" K&N. I could not believe just with that minor work how much harder the car pulls and how much louder the turbo whines.....

took the day off work to work on the car

Lets see..... pulled out the SMC alky tank to troubleshoot the low alky light switch/ float assembly. After testing and a call to Steve, the assembly is deemed bad so new float switch assembly enroute from Steve pro bono! Thrasher chip back in and boost cut back down to max of 12 PSI for the time being. Also had to rub out three places on my driver's front quarter where some inconsiderate moron opened their car door on my car! Luckily, it was surface level only and rubbed/ buffed out. Hot here with 100 degree ambient temps with 106 degree heat index!! :frown:

This is great. Wonderful variation of responses...both good and bad.

RUQWKNF - I talk to Zeus too. I swear it helps. They each have a personality all their own.

Evans - Gonna make it to the 'Boro this weekend?

benoitthegr8 - I know what you mean. I did a 14" K&N, a solid MAF pipe and a fresh intercooleer duck and cleaning on the same day and swore I didn't have the same motor.

notacarlo - You must have one he!! of a cat to be feeding it such a diet! :p

3 more posts to 1000!!!
