Service truck decided to try and beat a light. We both lost. I hit the rear left corner of his utility body. Front end gone, frame tweaked on left side. He ran.

Engine was not damaged. The F-body radiator was all bent to hell but still holding water! The only thing that was broken was the power steering reservoir.

SO...the engine is going into a RATROD.

Did the cops catch the moron?

You should of given me the $3.4 million I was asking.

I will probably still come up and offer moral support.....you know, for those running 24's with thousands of dollars in mods. :biggrin:

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. I had to sit out in 2007. My car was fine and it was raced. I was the one broken.

We still want you to come to the race to support the rest of us and have a good time.

We now have 89 racers committed to compete with 60 days to go so it looks like we have a great shot at breaking the 100 race goal this year.

Wow, thats a pretty good list so far. I tried to burn my car up a few weeks ago but I think its ok and will be good to go for the shootout. Clay H. and I were discussing yesterday about him bringing his Buick and GTO up, so I think that'll make 90 confirmed at this point. He also told me that the goat might end up on the Tshirts this year - I'll have to make sure I get there early enough to get one in the right size.

My car did run like a dog last year but 2009 has brought some changes with some more to come before the Shootout. It should get down the track a little better this year.:biggrin: :biggrin:
