Those wheels look good. I'd have to see a close-up of the rears though, can't imagine those drum brakes looking good in there. Any plans for a Disc setup?

...and I resent that comment about the white regals with the burgundy (or porno red) interior.

I need to lower my stance! GNjay's is perfect!

is it about the size or how nice the wheel looks

Yesterday I saw a very nice 1996 Impala SS it had some nice wheels on it. But what killed the car was that he had some writing on the rear door’s glass. “Yeahh U jealous punks they are 22s.
That made me think is it about the size of the wheel or how good it looks. The first thing that came to my mind was he is definitely gethofab and follows rap music’s trends. Just because they are big who cars what they look like.
And that car reminded me of this thread. To all 20 haters. Look at me I have 20s
Not look at my nice rims.
I am in no way implying the above opinion about the gentle men in this thread. But it did remind me of it.
And before blowing your gasket read my previous post.

GNJays....your car looks good! As for the other "Gs" out there with big 24s on rust buckets this is what I have to say...IMO

I can't help to notice the younger generation seem to mimic what they see on TV. When I'm flipping through the channels and see a bunch of black guys in a bright orange caddy or whatever, with their heads hangin out the window and not even looking at the road, blabbing out stupid lyrics about whatever.....then I see the same sh it in my town I have to wonder.

Just admit it....if the rappers were B-Boppin lyrics that they are "ridin' dirty" on 80" wooden wagon wheels with a couple of horses pulling it all you O.G.s would be right behind them like a puppy dog. They see the money, jewelry, clothes, cars on TV and are impressed by it (easily influenced)

I'm 26 years old. I listened to dre and snoop back in 92 and 93...I wanted a '64 with hydraulics on it. BUT I WAS 12-13 YEARS OLD! and that was short lived. If I had not seen those cars associated with bitches and hoes and partying, I probably would not have liked the cars. Now that I'm older I found out that it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive in order to get the women. A bitch that would talk to you just because you are ridin on 24s probably isn't worth a damn anyway.

To sum it all up I think the 20s on gnjays car are at the max on a GN for wheel size. Looks good. However, as far as handling on the street a 16" with 245-50s do the job just fine, a nice upgrade from stock.

Those rims are SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They look GOOD! If they made them in a 17-18 inch rim id buy them. Speaking of which if you dont mind saying what did the rubber and rims run yah about?

If being stuck in the 80s means we use rims that let you turn your steering wheel without chewing up your fender, I guess we're all stuck there. You sound like a real mature person fo shizzle wizzle dizzle.

 :D

I believe this website is meant for educational purposes, if you want to bash on haters you should've started a threat on the non-sense, anything goes threads, your car is just like any other Grand National here in So. Cal, 20's 22's all black, or black center, it's all played out already, plus with those wheels, no matter how much heat and with all the BEAT in your trunk you'll never even stand a chance with a stock ass SRT-4, and this reply is coming from a dude with a DIFFERENT color turbo buick, with burgundy interior!

Sorry I can't go. My car will still be in the body shop :(

I would like to see it when your done if thats ok. I need paint bad some lil kid key'd it along with two other car a while back. I saw your car a the BBQ / Paint Shop the day of the show looks good.

with those big pizza cutters i really dont think youll be able to beat a stock ass SS COBALT, like hboost said your car is just another ordinary GN with played out big wheels and with some serious BEAT & HEAT, im in southern california too (COMPTON) and i see alot of GNs with that same style wheel, this website is for educational porposes not to show off your ordinary GN with pizza cutter wheels, theres nothing wrong with having a turbo regal with burgandy interior, i actually think that a white T-TYPE with burgandy interior stands out more than your average black GN with grey interior, if its not a GNX its really not worth bragging for.

im stuck in the 80s too, im more of the thick sticky tires and stock wheels guy

Dont worry about how my car looks with unpainted wheels, that just means I spent a LITTLE extra dough to make them look clean. And since were asking dumb ass questions, why is your name jasjamz and why do you have a hot-air GN w/an intercooled engine? Why are you from Chicago, and why does your car have rust? I mean, what's the OTHER stuff? Grow up deusche bag, I'm just saying.......

First of all, I was asking because the picture was taken in what appears to be a repair facility! I have only seen a hand full of cars that kept the wheels unpainted. Many loose the center caps because of improper installation buy shops and prefer to but them back on later at home. I wasn't trying to be mean it was just a question. Whats your problem???

The title of this thread fits most of the replies. Lotta hatin' goin' on 'round here.......

Anyways.....

gnjay your wheels suck....

can I have them yet?

i will trade you a used thermostat(yes, 160).....and I think I have 1/2 a tube of weatherstrip adhesive around here somewhere...let me look

really though...I want them...where do you live? is the car always locked? in a garage? do you think I could tow it....ya know...hypothetically speaking of course....

I said it before... to each his own. GNjay's car is nice and that's my opinion. I wonder how people would react to what Chip Foose would do to a GN or any TR for that matter. Hmmm....
