While racing seems like its takes forever to shift to 3rd. Is this normal or is there somethiin I need to be concerned about

Is there an acceptable level of knock. On my knock gauge it goes to the 2nd orange light at WOT in 2nd gear. Is this bad or normal. Boost gauge reads about 17-18lbs of boost.

I installed my knock gauge and the green light stays on. but when i go WOT nothing else lights up. Is there anyway to test to make sure everything is connected properly. Or is it possible to get no knock.
