Just measured 1st wire w / multimeter Magnecor 10mm. very few miles but they sat for a while 1st wire 3.85? continuity should be 0- .05 in ohms correct? Time for new wires?

Thanks I may be needing a new MAF, chasing a CODE 34 with damaged wiring to boot. If it needs replacing I too will be going Translator route and LT or LS MAF

It seems a rodent of some sort has been feasting on my MAF connector, I guess this could explain the SES 34 light. Wires were chewed almost all the way through. Once I fix this I will probably find the MAF is also bad. New one on the way from Caspers. IS it OK to use a 3M red quick splice...

I thought I remembered it might be a tach wire. Funny question is why is that a factory "connection" if these cars did not come with a tach? I have the digital dash. Verdict is: I should keep it unplugged?

Do you guys "Play" with the gap within a range of say .32 and .35 depending on mods and boost? As my sig states engine and turbo are basically stock with standard mods added. GNTTYPE spring cleaning suggests .35 gap, but most of you seem to run smaller gaps?

and should it be connected? I am drawing a blank as to what it is

I was going to put in AC Delco r43, but read on here recently that the quality on some have been subpar. Are the NGK UR5 found to be better quality and should the gap remain @.35. What is suggested for my set up?
