I have tried searching the forum, but sadly EGR is too short to be searched. Can I just block this off with a thin plate of Aluminum? Not a big fan of EGR principle anyways, and need to get it running well. Not a single shop in my town has a replacement valve in stock. :(

Well, if there are no answers to this question, can the speedo needle bouncing cause the cruise control to surge?

OK, was driving the car, cut it off for a few minutes, went to start it and all it did was turn over, occ start for a second maybe. I did not hear the pump priming up. I replaced the fp relay and fuse first, still same symptoms. Just replaced the old pump with a new one, tested the old pump...

Good question, I have one leaking on both sides of the back where the block, heads, and intake come together. Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

ttt please. I think I may have a rear main leaking....so hard to tell.

TTT I too am having the same issue with my 87 GN. A local fellow Buick tech told me it is possible the turn signal switch could cause this problem. I have not yet tried to replace the switch yet. Jimmy
