Help please, boost leaking from EGR valve

I have tried searching the forum, but sadly EGR is too short to be searched. Can I just block this off with a thin plate of Aluminum? Not a big fan of EGR principle anyways, and need to get it running well. Not a single shop in my town has a replacement valve in stock.

Sucks when the guy in the parts store can't find the valve.

Where is it leaking from the valve around the base.???

You may just be able to replace the gasket and be done with it. Or block it off. Most modern chips disable it anyway
