Pics of a few cars from the past

My first car after I had it for a year or so... Older brother had the '82 Z, mine was faster :)

Then came the MCSS in '87, must have been taken in '91 since the GN is sitting in the garage. Drove the MCSS for 7 years logging over 230k miles on it.

Quite the collection you have there!!! I see I'm not the only Mopar guy who ended up with a TR either

I had two Chargers, a '68 and a '69. Both R/T cars w/440s. The '68 was my first, I sold it to get the '69.

Here's one of me w/my '68 my mom took the day I brought it home. To this day she still has this picture on her refrigerator.

The car now resides in the San Fransisco area. I talk to the owner 2-3 times a year :)

When I sold my '69, it went to a fella in Montana. He spent the winter lowering it, putting hideous wheels on it, an SE dash, etc... Kind of uglied the car up IMO. The following spring he called me wanting to know if I wanted it back, but I had my 'cuda by then. It seemed he and his wife had decided to get a divorce. He ended up selling the car to his coworker, who was trying to flip it fast. Last I knew the car ended up in NY state.

Speaking of the cuda....

This was originally a Thaitian Gold 318 3sp manual car, but somewhere became a 360 car, then became a 500+ hp 440 Keisler 5sp car when I had it. Its a '74, the last year for the 'cuda. Next to my GN, it was the fastest car I had owned, going 11.93 in the 1320. Boy were they pissed when tech saw I didnt have the proper equipment to be running that kind of time

Wow!!! Factory 4-spd grand prix ,Thats a rare one.Won't see that too often.

I do like the 68-70 chargers, When i was growing up my brothers friend had a black on black on black 68 4 spd car,That was awesome,if i ever run into one of those i wont be able to resit buying it.

I just saw a blast from the past,I went to the diner + as i pulled in i see a70 stage 1 4-spd sitting there,he just took it out for the season,he has had it for 30yrs now,i havn't seen it since last yr + then only saw it once.
when he went to leave i reminded him that he owns a tire shop,+ urged him to fill my need for some tire smoke in the nostrils,so he dropped the clutch in 1st,+ missed second, but caught it after + put down about a hundred feet of 2nd gear, what a sound ,its got headers + a cam ,3" exhaust, brought back memories.:)

A good testament as to why you never let your girlfriend + her friends take your muscle car out for a night on the town.Hard to see but the passenger fender is wrinkled + the windshield is broken. She was pullling a smoke show + lost it.
I grew up with this car in my neighborhood,it was owned by a couple of my older brothers friends over the yrs,It was a very rare,1970 rs/ss L/78 396/375
hp camaro, with m-22 rock crusher tranny + 410 gears from the factory,
Two brothers in town bought twin cars,1 was blue + this one was classic copper,it was an early built car so it had the small rear spoiler ( which i love on these cars). It was restored after this pic was taken by someone in town,he painted it blue, added dual quads, cam, raised hood,Ladder bars, etc.I brought it back to mostly stock. I sold it to someone in nj,about 12-15 yrs ago.If you happen to know the person who owns this car now i would love to buy it back.

Think your car is a factory light weight because it has no power windows, check the factory holes cut out of these already light seat brackets, along with super light windows,+ extra thin sheet metal etc.
Check out the old rat roaster intake, this was a factory race hemi not the typical st hemi,it was a beast ,i never raced it but it was easily a low 10 sec car.

great taste in cars:)

I know, after looking back at all these cars + how many yrs ago some were, I feel old. I'm going to have to change my site name from t-typenator to
The Geezer-nator .

Well not a muscle car but it is 1 of 1500 1976 Dart Lites built The Feather Duster was just over 3000 units, the Plymouth equivalent). Slant 6, 3spd w/OD Aluminum bumper braces, aluminum trans case, and hood and trunk have aluminum bracing rather than steel bracing.

Bought in 1980 by my mom and I still own it.

This is the only one that I miss that I let get away. 67 Pontiac Catalina 2dr hardtop. Gulf turquoise with matching interior. 400 V8 and the famous 8-lug drums. Last I heard, kid that I sold it to tore it up, got it towed and never went to get it. Ran into a tow driver that remembers it, he said he thinks it went to scrap!
