Congratulations to Brian Cotton who ran 8.94 @ 164.27 MPH! yesterday at Englishtown, NJ driving Jack's "Pumpkin"...

Claude. :)

I sure like that 164, is that the pumpkin's new best?
Congratulations either way.

Any useless drivel is going to result in an immediate ban. Keep that in mind when youre composing your post.

I was there and can attest that traction really sucked. I personnally wasn't able to do any better than a 1.51 ... Every Buick racer I spoke to (including Brian) said they had problems leaving the line hard...

Claude. :frown:

Nice. Was that the only pass that was made? Thats a big gain in mph from the previous best. Did it break traction or was the launch boost low? What was the eighth e.t./mph?

That is a typical MPH for an 8.50 pass with that being said if the tires spun real bad you will always see a big MPH increase if you get down the rest of the track ok as you typically with cross at a high RPM because of tire spin.
Did Brian make any other passes or was this the only good one?
