Buick's at Irwindale

Showed up at Irwindale last week and hung out with some Buick people who were trying to break the sound barrier . My 10 second capable hellcat managed 7.23 at 99 mph with a 1.64 60 ft. .Then I tried the Porsche yesterday the car that spoonful refers to as a Volkswagon ran almost identical in 96 degree heat 7.36 @ 97 mph with a 1.61 60ft. I'm trying to enjoy Irwindale before it's closedown next year January 31.

What do those 2 times convert to in the quarter?
Ran against 2 Hellcats coupla weeks ago in my "almost" 10sec. old school muscle....they may be "capable" but real time for those were mid-11's.
Now the Porsche, that's a real performance car.

Humm....I see can be misinterpreted. The Hellcats ran mid-11's (lost). The following week ran against a new COPO Camaro, damnnnn those things can run!!! Come with a 'chute, launch wheels-up. Driver told me they can be custom made, none are street-legal.
