The car was just up on a lift yesterday and I noticed that the frame actually has some wear on it, caused by the parking brake cable...what could have caused this and what can I do to rectify it?

Dumb question guys, but what's needed to place an 86/87 turbo on a hotair?

I've decided to take the plunge while I have money and to do the 86/87 ECM swap... After reading the gnttype.org article, it confused me. The only thing that I've gleaned is that I need an ECM, MAT, electric fan, wiring harness and what else...? Someone needs to make a stupid kit for ppl like me...

I have enough money for one or the other... Should I get the ScanMaster first or the HotWire setup from Racetronix? Thanks guys. I don't have an AFPR as of yet...

Did you gents take a look see at the new GT series turbo from Garrett? I believe that the efficiency of the aforementioned turbos are quite high... wouldn't that be a better base for an upgrade rather than working with 20 yr old technology?

I know that we can use some of the Monte's suspension for our benefit. Problem is I don't remember what year works and what doesn't. I'd like to get the 3 braces that go under the front by the radiator and the upper ones that goes by the battery/canisterto the respective fenders... Seat braces...

The voltage light flickers, so I popped the hood, was looking at the alternator and noticed that the connector behind the alt. is blackened... Is that a problem/hard to replace? Checkers carry um?

Gents, I have a problem. My hotair is hard to start. Seems that on a cool day it'll fire up, on a hot day, it'll crank for a while. Someone mentioned that it may be a bad checkvalve? Where is it and is it hard to replace? Is there anyone here that runs an external fuel pressure guage on the hood...

I just bought an 85 GN. Needs alot of love, but I fell in love with the car and that's bad I guess. However, can anyone get me up to speed on these cars? I'd prefer what works to what I think should work... Thanks guys...
