Body brace bolts?

I used a big mother nut & bolt for the forward mount. For the cross member mount, I used self tapping body bolts (3/8 or 1/2 inch)

Robbie-

you're referring to the triangle, front frame braces?

Where the brace attaches to the outboard frame rails (most forward point), there are already 'through" holes in the frame that exactly line up. I used 1/2"-13 bolts & nuts there, to provide snug fit. For more load bearing surface I used flanged head bolts & nuts, black oxide, to look more "factory".

Where the 2 braces meet at under the frame cross member, the holes in the frame are between 11/32" and 3/8" in size. Two chocies:

-- some have used an "appropriate" size bolt, and with an impact wrench it can be forced in, threading its own way.

-- I opted to tap those 11/32 holes with a 7/16”-14 tap. Then used 7/16”-14, flanged head bolt.

Thanks for all the help guys... I got the original factory hardware and installed them. My goodness...what a HUGE amount of difference...Would recommend to anyone that hasn't done this yet...
