I know a guy who chromes rims for $40 a wheel. I've heard this cant be done on the 87 stock GN rims? Can one of the gurus out there tell me why. I've found companies that specialize in GN rims but it costs close to $1000 (shipping included).

Some day soon I want to have my 87 rims redone. I was told that they can widen the rims up to 12 inches during the process. 1. What is the benefit to widening them to 10 or 12 inches? 2. Does the 10 or 12 inch width still fit normal?

Come to my garage in the shade and you will see this pristine low milage 87 GN. But look at my car in the sun light and it looks awful. Will a nice paint job fix the streaks in the bright sun?
