Running a LU converter in a non LU trans

I hear it is bad to run a non-LU convertor in a LU trans but what about the other way around? Other than the lack of efficiency, it is ok to do?

you really need to mod the pump if you plan to run a non lock up. And then if you want to run the lock up put the lock up valve in the pump to go that way. Just works way better when you use the correct parts for the converter you are running.

If you use a L/U converter in a non L/U TRANS it will lock the clutch when you put it into gear
