6 pt rollbar question??

I've been doing research on roll bars and saw some pics of a 6-point with a removeable cross bar, the horizontal bar behind the seats that the harness attaches to. The rules talk about swing-outs but I didn't see anything about removeable cross bars. Is it legal under NHRA and IHRA rules? Pinned clevis type mounting would weaken the bar significantly. If I did it I would use sleeves and bolts to maintain some rigidity. The reason I ask is that without a removeable cross bar, your back seat is virtually useless, except for really flexible, small kids. I would like to retain the option to put adults in the back. TIA! Just trying to think ahead........WAAAAY ahead.

Must be welded.

Quote from the NHRA 2005 rule book, "Crossbar and rear braces must be welded to the main hoop."
