I thought this was a great event and plan on making it back even though it conflicts with our local Metro Cruise here in Grand Rapids, much rather go racing.

Osceola Dragstrip in Indiana

Here is some info for Osceola Dragstrip.
Test and Tune is on Fridays only.
It starts around 4:00 in the afternoon.
They run until dark.
Saturday there is no racing.
Sunday is bracket racing with a couple of test passes.
It starts around 9:00 am and ends with a loss.
The South Bend guys have been trying to go on Friday for several weeks.
It seems to rain every Friday we plan something!
We might go again this Friday if it doesn't rain???
The forecast is calling for rain again!!!
I have been thinking about going on Sunday just to get some passes in.
Keep an eye on the weather forecast.
If it doesn't rain on Friday I should be there.
I will check with everyone else.

I know Tim has been busy getting ready for his son's graduation party.
I think Tim and Shane are ready to go to the track.
We haven't been there yet this year.

another way to go if you guys want to is we could go to martin. i know it is a little farther for you guys but they are open on fri. sat. and most of the time untill like 1 am. this friday i am going to MIS for the arca race and i think nic if going with me but mabey we can do something soon.

Hotel Info for MWBC 2008

First of all, it's Freshman Orientation Week for Notre Dame, so we couldn't get any rooms in Mishawaka, at all. So we ended up in Elkhart, not much farther away.

The dates are August 22 - August 24, Friday thru Sunday.

Cruise night - Friday night, August 22 at the MWBC

Hi - I just set up a cruise night - kind of a "Meet and Greet" for Friday night at:

We will show up anytime after 6:00. Plenty of parking, good eats, good music and great Buicks!

This is located straight north about a mile from the hotels.
