Spend $100-$150 for a 8" used set and forget about it. A spinning 28" Slick breaks rear end parts when it grabs. Good luck

Hey SNS I have the same tire on a 8" weld wheel and I run 15-17lbs and have never had a problem. I have got as low as 1.52 60ft. On a full weight street car.Hope this helps.

I think the point he was making is that the section width on a 15x8 with a comparable size is wider than 17x8. and is more likely to rub.

Try working on getting a 1.6 or even a 1.5 short 1st. 1.8 has room for improvement with that set up. Then move on to other things . Good luck

I am getting a fair amount of noise out of my speedometer cable. More when it is cold. Years ago thay had a fitting that went on the end of the cable on the transmission side and shot grease up throw it. What about these cars?

I have taken notice in some photos that some guys dont put the crank pulley fan on even though they still have a stock location intercooler. Should I pull it off and get the drag off the crank? or is it effective?

Yes 11.50sh look good for you at 114-117MPH. 9lbs more boost on a good tune will give you great MPH increases. Allthough 1.63 is a good 60' with more boost and you hook. 60' could be 1.5s. Good luck

I wonder if it has anything to do with moter mounts. The more movement like a stock mount the more it is prone to crack. Maybe getting a more solid mount could help.

Are poston headers prone to crack? If so were are they more likely to do so. Or are they a good stock upgrade?
