    White 87 Turbo T $4500

Email with more detailed rust pictures is on the way soon. It should make the trip just fine, I just did 400 miles on I-72 last weekend. A few things I remembered that I haven't mentioned yet: -Brake lines have been patched in two places -The trunk lock has been shaved and has an...

    White 87 Turbo T $4500

That's a nice IROC, but yes you're correct in that I'm not looking for any trades. I just don't have enough garage space.

    White 87 Turbo T $4500

I'd say it is roadworthy, I just took it on a 400 mile round trip to my parent's for Thanksgiving. It is a 23 year old car though.

    White 87 Turbo T $4500

To answer a few of the questions that have come up, this car does have a clean title. It will not pass emissions (no cat). I do drive this car a fair amount, it hasn't just been sitting for years. The stock tach and boost gauge are hilariously inaccurate. I'm willing to take any additional...

    White 87 Turbo T $4500

Yes, it is still for sale. I have a couple of coil packs, a coil module, ECU, cam sensor, and a few other odds and ends that will go with the car if the buyer wants them.

Hey Rick, which bodyshop did you take it to? I was thinking about fixing the rust on my white T.

    What are best cams

Too stiff of valve springs robbing horsepower is a bit of a myth, since the springs also push the lobes back up while the valve is closing. There is a fair amount of loss in flat tappet valvetrains due to the increased friction, but the loss in a roller-rocker/lifter setup is almost...

    Lt1 Maf And Turbo Sneeze

I also have a GM MAF in my up-pipe, it actually makes compressor sneeze ever so slightly louder due to less restriction in the intake path between the filter and the compressor wheel. Like DCVING 6 said, the only way to eliminate compressor surge is with a blow off valve.

    TA-49 with a PTE .85?

wheelin, I'd stick with what you've got, slowly up the boost some more, and work on your tune. You should be able to get at least another 5mph out of it.

Need opininions on Gen II or Pro Translators...

My gen 2 works great, being able to set the timing curve in addition to the fuel curve is a great plus. Unfortunately I haven't run it at the track due to my stock trans slipping in 2nd(a 1.59 60ft and 117mph should end up with something a bit better than 11.84 I think  ). The...

    009 injectors, two chips, and TE44 FS/FT

Car is running fine, made a boatload of 11 second passes at Bowling Green, which definately took their toll on the poor stock trans. That should be fixed soon enough. Sure, I'll check it out, shoot me a PM sometime when you want to show it off.

    Gen2 translater

Mine works great, other than I'm waiting on a new WB O2 sensor before I can actually tune with it. The instructions could probably use a warning about not leaving a Turbolink boost sensing harness hooked up to the car if using the Gen 2 Translator in conjunction with the 'G' Extender. You get...

    1986 and 1987 LC2 Differences

Ahh, ok, guess I'm wrong. I had just never seen an 87 with the smooth hoses.

    1986 and 1987 LC2 Differences

The oil cooler lines are different, 86 looks like high pressure rubber hose, 87 looks like braided hose.
