MSRP WAS $206K only 194 of these SUPER COUPES were built from 2005-2006....

SILVER ON BLACK WITH KEYLESS GO AND PARKTRONIC OPTION

I am selling my CL65 with 80k original miles....the car rides like a new car...super tight as any super AMG should be....

If you dont know but the CL65 is the most powerful factory production car in THE WORLD........actually all the 65's produced by AMG are...

THE car stock produces 612hp and 750 ft. lbs of torque...
STOCK 1/4 mile is 11.7@121.... WITH A/C SEATS fellows..

For those who feel this car is not reliable or expensive to fix...YOU ARE DEAD WRONG...I own all these cars out of warranty and in the last 2 years owning almost #11 65's I have spent less then $1500 in maintaining them!!!

Best to get the real feedback from a guy who loves these cars and drives these supercars daily......

I would love to see pictures of the car. I drove John Gallina's SL65 and was very, very impressed.
 
Yes---deposit in hand it is off ebay...

Another forum member is getting approved today for it...no deposit yet...

by the way the book bank loan value on the car is $52,000!!!!!

So you can get a loan for $50k and keep the $15k to put towards credit cards.....

buyer need to be aware of the insurance,i had a BMW 740il yrs back and insurance was like $600 every 6 months...when my GN was like $400 for the yr..

i bet that car will be like $800 for 6 months...
 
$35k is a rockin' price for that car. I paid over $30k for my wifes 2001 BMW 740I back in '04.

This car is 100x a GN by comparison....it has a $80k engine in it....considered to the most powerful in the world detuned...

I have owned over 20 TR's ...still love them as the best collector car made in the last 30 years...so not knocking the car but lets be realistic here...this car has a 8 piston caliper set up in the front with 15.4" rotors...our cars have drums...lol....even the new Z06 doesnt even have brakes like a CL65......a GN is a great car but this CL65 is a wet dream in terms of modern day looks and comfort with a ton of power.....

You hand me the keys to a GN with 20k miles or this CL65..I wouldnt even blink an eye....I like the idea of accelerating to 120 mph from 80 in 3 seconds and the windows not blowing out...lol...

The insurance will be more then a GN obviously but what do you expect?
This is no GN or BMW....or anything like that....

This car produces 750 ft lbs of torque very very well managed at 1800 rpm STOCK folks....lol

not to mention the rear drive ratio on this car is a 2.65....yes 2.65...
TUNED ...this car runs 206 mph....and 128 mph in the 1/4

Look with only 194 built and less then 120 imported to the states it is a rare beast compared to anything out there including the 24 year old GNX..which I have one...


a GNX with 130k miles and a rust bucket from hell sold for $33k a while back...personally I would of bought a nice $20k GN with 15k miles...not a horror story ...so now $34k for this CL65? Is stupid by comparison...what that guy got was a piece of **** rust bucket from 1987 that needs a full resto...chances are his woman tells him daily to dump the car....what he could of had was a AMG supercar if that deal was today........lol........

I dont care how rare a GNX is or whatever....I own one..I drive it never ....will sell it soon..a waste of a car for me....and when I take it out ...everybody says " Nice GRAND National" lol
 
Seems like a good price. Additional insurance and maintance will result in another $300 a month tho. Still worth it imo tho at that price.

Additional insurance and maintance will come out to less then $100 month...remember I have owned 11 of these cars over the last year and a half....they r sick reliable and the insurance is $110 a month based on the $35k replacement cost....

I have put $1400 in all 11 cars in the time I have owned them.....

YET One year of owning a GN a while back I put about $1500 in it ......part resto and then maintance and repairs

Brett.....I live and breathe these cars...lol

Oil change $110 needed every 7500 miles...roughly twice yearly

brakes... $600 all 4 corners .... this can be done 2 times prior to changing rotors.... I have gotten an average of 40k miles on one set for my AMG'S

Let me see...wax and detail 4x a year $200

New tires...the rears will go quick if you burn them up...but if you drive normal... once every 25k miles or year and a half is average..
cost $1200 installed for the best tires...

So does this look like an expensive car to own?

Misc. repairs.... well I HAVE put on one CL65 32k miles once with a zero repair issue....so that would depend..I will tell you this ..you dont drive them....they break more often...THIS is the truth....the higher mile cars are less problems....

nice **** talking the camaro SS ... I know alot that would run your benz with minor bolt ons ... 10x's quicker ?
