I'm buying some -6 fittings to connect my tranny lines to the tranny and I have forgotten what size the threads are in the tranny itself. Any help would be appreciated. I'd take the brass one out and screw this direct into the tranny. Thanks.

ARP makes them, I had them on my old 8.5 diff.

Sounds like a good way to rip that rubber brake line.... If unbolting the shocks isn't enough, unbolt the brake line and it should drop lost for you.

I did a search for gutting the proportioning valve and came up with only one hit. It didn't explain what exactly you need to do. Can someone shed some light on this before I put my wilwood rear discs in. Thanks a lot!:)

You guys need to buy some flex head gear wrenches. Best tool for those upper bell housing bolts. Something people forgot to mention, drain the tranny pan first. Otherwise you're going to have a mess.

I have recently dealt with all these people. The transactions went smooth for the most part. There were a few snags due to living in Canada, but everything ended well. Thanks to Ted, Jack + Jerry, and Mike + Marianne + Jason.

Len Freeman is going to be doing the work, whatever he wants to do is fine by me. I had a super servo in my previous tranny, but that is getting freshend up and sold. I need a stronger unit. I know I can take the valve body out with it i the car, what about the governor and this spacer plate...

Good to know, thanks for the info. The tranny in the 87 has to come out anyways and that is where the rebuilt tranny is going back in. I'l scam it out of that car.:D
