Sad day indeed. I hardley knew Woody but he was nice enough once to let me use his slicks at the track. Real nice guy. He will be missed. My prayers are with his family :(
I have one also that I just recently purchased (a month ago). The LED will not go out but will dim ever so slightly when it is supposed to be out. I set it according to the instructions assuming that when it dimmed it was supposed to be off. Bottom line is it worked and I got it set according...
Excuse my ignorance, but what is meant by 'double nut'? I have head studs too and am just curious, it would be nice to be able to do HG while motor was still in the car.
Mine had a bad miss at part throttle. I found 1 rocker on the affected cyclinder not moving at all. I don't know how I wiped the cam so badly. I had probably 30k miles on a flat tappet Comp Cam 206/206.
Do you have an aftermarket cam or the stocker?
I just ask cause I had similar problem and i was praying it was a coil pack or MAF but found out it was a flat cam lobe:(
It's the cam:( . Pulled off the intake this weekend. I guess I am joining the ranks of the 'Cams gone bad' club here. Well, time to save some money up for a roller.
He ain't joking. When I bought my car it had a TE62 and 36lb injectors . I promply blew the heck out of the head gaskets, and nowhere near 29 lbs of boost, maybe 20.
I am the only one replying to my post:(
Come on turbo buick community, don't let me down in my time of need.
If the lifter is not moving at all, I would not suspect a cam failure, I would think it was a lifter problem. I look down into the head and the lifter appears very clean, no oil...
