what kinda music do you listen to?

I never did like Stratovarius too much. Too much keyboard for me, reminded me of bad Queensryche for some reason. I've heard good things about Sonata Artica though. I fell out of the metal scene a few years ago, I should start reading reviews again...

Any of the black metal fans into Sigh? A bunch of Japanese guys making some crazy stuff.

Sigh first 2 albums were really good.....now the fuse Japanese, jazz, metal and classical music....they got a little to weird for me. Though I still respect what they do and know that bands must evolve.

Chthonic is an awsome black metal band from Taiwan and are probably the heaviest band out of Asia at the moment.

Old School Rap. Some new stuff like Ludacris. None of that 'Crunk in the club bull'. Gimme that straight from the sewers stuff.

(Anybody that knows Das EFX will know that last line)

I'm talking Redman, Das EFX, NWA, Ice Cube (Early), Dr. Dre (Early), Ludacris, A Tribe Called Quest, Q-Tip, Common Sense, Black Star, Dead Prez.

Some Reggae. The usual stuff. (Marley, Dennis Brown, etc)

Some rock. Nothing heavy though. That album, 'Dark side of the moon'. I really like that one. :)

Do you have "Check Yo' Self" by Ice Cube and Das EFX? It has a verse that has to be a turbo buick reference.

Where's the reference:?

Not exactly sure what it means but the lyrics are:

If you're foul, you better run a make on that license plate
You coulda had a V8
Instead of a tre-eight slug to the cranium (POOOOOW!)
I got six and I'm aimin em

not sure if he is talking about a 3.8 or a 380 pistol round.

The Cult..............Good Call! Want me to post some videos?

In no particular order:

Chuck Berry, BB King, Howlin' Wolf, Tony Bennett, Deep Purple, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Thorogood, ZZ Top, Earth Wind and Fire, Ramones, Diana Krall, and the next Governor of Michigan: Ted Nugent!

I used to listen to this stuff everyday!
