That's the thing, any new comer will have to be able to get a new "TSM" legal turbo.
If the class was build around the 70/71 then the members of the class that can vote, should vote in another turbo that can be competitive. If you only keep the class around the 71/70 turbo and the availability drives the cost up, then how can the class grow? Once the group that has the 71 now dies out, no one will want to replace them.

The class is not built around that turbo. The rules say ...up to 71mm.
the class was around before the 71 turbo.

Ok, "built around" was a poor choice of words. So what other turbo would be "competitive" if someone was to build a TSM car from scratch?

The billet 67 seems to be a good choice, it's been 8.81 in TSM trim.

With time seems like everything changes, that's why people need to be open minded.

Adjust rules to be OLD school 71 or any combination of 67 including exhaust side.

Wastegate dumping back into exhaust is a joke .This should be eliminated also

4 bolt housing it is. At some point in time we will all upgrade if parts are not there for us because of manufacturing cost we upgrade fabricate or do whatever it takes we always have. That's the fun of it. I still got to fab up some intercooler pipes or upgrade that also. Looking forward to May.

t4 or vband flange for turbine and be done with it. For those limit the turbo to 67 let the 3 bolt guys run up to 71, it works and keeps everyone in the game
