I have one that came with my car. I only used it until I learned how to set the TPS correctly.

i ran one in the late 90s.......not one bit of difference that i could tell

I’d compare it to putting my F150 in “sport” mode. It ramps in the tps voltage quicker which makes the vehicle ‘feel’ more responsive. It does not add any power, but I prefer the throttle response with it vs without. Buy a used one from a member here if you want to play with it so you’re not out much cash if you don’t like it.
