Driving on the highway, spedo pegged at 85 (but not going much faster than that)... Slowed down to 60 and heard a clicking from under the dash - drivers side. Spedo still gave accurate (from what I could tell) mph readings. Both odometer and trip gauge working. The slower I went, the slower the ticking. At 65 mph the tick was every 4 seconds. Next time out...no clicking at any speeds.
Last run at 65+ on the highway I heard a whistling noise when next to cars and reverbing off the concrete barrier(s). When driving <65 mph, no whistling sound. No more clicking either.
Thinking this is a spedo cable issue but before I begin any repairs, looking for any / all expertise.
(slowing down is not much of an option)
