Well, the GTP is worn out after 224,000 miles. There was just too much wrong with it to fix.
Drivetrain is still good but the rest of it is falling apart. I'm one day away from buying a 99 Pontiac Bonneville SLE in very good condition. If I decide to get the GTP motor rebuilt in the future, how easy would it be to swap out the N/a 3800 (L36) for the boosted motor (L67)? I would think it will be an easy
