thanks 2 all that replied to try and help me fix problem with my gn.even the grammer lessons was good 4 a laugh.i needed that!turns out that the wiring harness against firewall directly above steering column had been tampered with by a previous owner,who removed the factory armor and tapped into the start wire,was rubbing steering column and the transmission lock linkage,until it wore through some wires.some people just do things to cars without thinking it through.my son and i have done quite a bit of work to the car and its turning into a really nice ride.we want to keep it mostly stock,but i would like to learn more about makeing it faster.im not sure but it mite b one of the more rare versions option wise,as it only has tilt steering.no power seats,crank windows,no t-tops,no cruise cont.its stripped.its gotta b 1 of the lightest versions available, without all that crap.any way thanks for trying 2 help.as 4 my grammer...lost cause
