Just sick, arrogant douche rich beyotch

But it isn't and won't be the largest house in America. That title is held by the Biltmore Estate at a mere 175,000 square feet. And yes, it is still privately owned by the Vanderbilt family. These people have been working on this house for years now and say "if the money holds out?" Apparently they don't have it to spend if money is a concern. The Vanderbilts built an entire town and rail line just to build their house. Now that is wealth.

Not to mention the original 120,000 acres it sat on. They donated all but 15,000 acres to the state and it became the start of Pisgah National Forest.

What's with all the hate???

The guy made a ton of money... good for him! Presumably he didn't do anything illegal or steal it from anyone so what is the problem with him spending it on whatever he wants? To a lot of people spending a bunch of money trying to make 26 year old cars go fast... or go at all... is a waste of money. Except for the magnitude, what's the difference?

Did him making a boatload of money prevent any of you from making a boatload of money? No. That none of us can afford such a house isn't his fault. What, now rich people can only spend their money in a way that is acceptable to ordinary people?

He's not hurting anyone. In fact, as someone pointed out, he's employing a bunch of people so that's a good thing.

Then, you all are so jealous that you personally attack his wife. She's fat... she has fake boobs... her kids are doomed. So I guess all of your wives/girlfriends are Jillian Michaels lookalikes?

Pathetic. Pathetic and disappointing.

They sold 90,000 acres to the US Gov. Just got back from there on vacation. It was insane!!!
