Hello guys or gals new here thanks tbc for letting me be a member. You know thoses pics that ta perf has of the indy heads with the big killer ports valves the size of soup cans those would be cool. Ofcoarse the turbo would have to be big to match along with 20 orther items but no one would touch you guys. Lets see some cast ta could do this no ploblem. thanks Jerry

Jerry, you'd also have to have a cam/valvetrain and a bottom end capable of 10,000+RPMS in order to reap the benefits of such large heads. I would imagine they would be very inefficient below 5-6000 RPMS as there would be NO port velocity. Just my $.02 thats probably only worth a penny, Drew

Heres a little note, On John Gallinas super stock car they were running Indy heads,Went to stage 2 non indy heads and went faster.

Otto,

I wonder if another 67CI would have made a difference?
John's Motor was only 207CI.

Never though of that,It may,He was pulling some where in the 9000rpm range i believe

Duttweiler has had some 274 spinning in the 9500 plus range.
