is it important to send your heads to a person that ports buick turbo heads only or is porting our heads just like any other set? thanks jerrad

The heads flow so terrible that just about any port work will be an improvement. I was more concerned about the valves, valvesprings and other components used.

and and? How do the flow numbers look if you don't mind sharing the info? If they are as good as I think, my heads are going this week. :D

Wow! I would think that would make a big kick in the pants difference not to mention on the street and dyno. I wonder if anyone has done a before and after dyno run.

I appreciate the information and will be sending my bare heads this week. I may also get their intake at the same time.

What was the turnaround time?

Awesome numbers Tim, cant wait till you get it to the track and get some numbers out of it, i have a feeling 11.teens won't be out of the question if not quicker. If ya wanna borrow my slicks sometime let me know

I had a friend take some pic's , I will send them to JD and maybe he can figure out how to post them. Also have the flow numbers before they were ported I will post them.

These are before the porting

Wow, the factory heads suck more than I thought. I could of sworn the factory flowed almost 180, but 150 is sad, really sad.

With a 66 cfm gain at .500 lift, that should make for an easy 122 horse gain with some serious boost.

Damn, $900 for 66 cfm sounds very tempting.

And those pistons are really clean.
