Harmonic balancer diameter

To purchase a timing tape for the 87 GN harmonic balancer. NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT DIAMETER OF THE BALANCER. THANKS

I just measured one in my garage....6.820...hope that helps.

Thanks for the information. The closest tape I found was from MSD at 6.75. close enough.

Why not just make your own piece of tape? Pi times diameter divided by 360 times 25 if using the stock logic.

The 25 deg. AFTER top dead center will equate to exactly 1-15/32" apart. Set the first line at the zero, then the second "timing" line to the right using that dimension. Simple and effective. Use a flat chisel to make the mark into the balancer, and fill with white chalk.
