P pflyers New Member Joined May 24, 2001 Dec 6, 2003 #1 Has anyone ever changed the rear end gears to 3:08's or something similar? I live where the average speed on the freeway is 80+. compared to a modern car the motor is a little buzzy at that speed. It's my daily driver. thanks Paul

A aggressive perf New Member Joined Oct 22, 2003 Dec 6, 2003 #2 I use to have a 3.08 gear in my 87 turbo t, it really moved out on the freeway. But the perfect gear for these cars is a 3.42..
