Ok, I think I'm good to go. It was killing me so I went for the garage early. Popped the hose and backed out the Allen head to 42lbs. But I had no screw inside the vacuum port. Mine was the in the center of the regulator top. I hope so! 
Put the vacuum hose back on and it dropped to around 37 lbs. imagine this my check engine light that came on yesterday went off. Did I do good??
