External Gate Location

On my new build I'm going with an external gate (Precision 46mm) and I'm trying to decide where to install. No off the shelf options for the TTA so will have to modify or fabricate. So I guess my options are either in the crossover or fabricate a new top section of my DP or modify my existing one. Any benefit or preference one way vs the other? New build specs in my sig.

Thanks,

off header just under turbo flange, and you can vent it to ground or tie back into the down pipe

heres a pic of the pw46 on a ta header but you can see what im talking about

Paul, doesn't look like enough room on the TTA/TTA header with the oil cooler, hoses, oil filter and radiator hose right under that location ?

What about modifying my DP similar to the ATR TTA external gate DP ?

you can curl up and mount the gate straight up

I'll give it a closer look tonight. I guess it's personal preference to vent it to the ground or back into the DP?

Another question...anything additional/special I need to hook up and run a AMS-500 ?

Paul's wright, Just curl it up. I've seen it before on a TA. It will looks good. It's definitely easier to vent it below the car. It sounds cool too when it opens.
