ANCIENT PHOTOS thread

Here's a shot of my very first brand new car: 1968 Mustang GT fastback. Ya, I was into spring shackles back then. Typical teen stupidity.

Then I traded that for my next new car which had to be ordered special: 1969 Nova SS 396/375.

A few more I dug up. Got another haircut for this one:

A few more of my oldies:

First off, getting rid of this one is my biggest regret.
My 73 Z28 the day I took delivery (purchased through Navy Exchange while in Vietnam).

And next was our "Chevy Van" days.

Then of course, my worst mistake, 77 Dodge Aspen R/T (360 2bbl) My first and last ever Chrysler product.

Me with my 62 Chevy SS convertible in 1981. This was the first car I ever restored. I drove it all the way to Colorado from Kansas  to the top of Pike's Peak.

My wife's grandpa had this 57 Chevy pu and we bought it for $150 in 1995. I restored it to this condition and my daughter liked to sit on the little steps.

1969 GTX - Before and After. My brother bought this brand new and it had 3000 miles on it in that first picture. Notice the Formula 1 Superstock tires and torque thrust wheels. He sold it with 38,000 miles on it in 1982. The guy that bought it rolled it on Main Street. I bought it back and restored it in 1983 but I don't have any pictures after it was restored. I sold it for a whopping $4500!
