This is actully trbobuick. ( having problems with my real s/n.)
Ok here it is: For an injected plastic badge the actual mold die will be 4500 , and for each piece it will run 40 bucks each. Thats molded and vacu-metalized. Its the die cost that makes the project cost prohivitive.
But we have another solution. For 4500 total i can have 100 badges made in a material called flex script. At 45.00 each this project will pay for itself. This company makes most of the badging for chrysler. We can have a 3D badge that is chrome, flat and adheasive backed . It is about 1/2 to 2/3 the hieght of the stock badge but they can make it in the exact script that we need. They sent me a bunch of examples that i will have at Norwalk or if anybody wants me to drop them a sample in the mail just let me know.
Im in for six for myself......you all in for the other 96 ?
The build time would be 3-4 weeks.
