Same thing happened to me some time ago cracked rite along the slot. my old knock detector would go off all the time and that was the problem. replaced it and haven't had a problem
i need some info on what to do with the stock type altinator to kill the car when running. do you need to do something with the big wire off the back or the one on the plug.also does it need to be ran to the on\off swich also.:confused: thanks for the time.
there is also a bunch of wirer's that plug in were the fire wall meets the fender by the antenna, and they plug in there before they go into the car. when my blower does not work i have to wiggle the wirer's there to get it to come on. it was a lose fitting plug that i Had to fix. i think this...
i would put the studs in the new stile will let you take them out so you don't have to pull the motor to change a head gasket. every one will have a different opinion on head gaskets. I'm running lock wire gaskets.
