waste gate solenoid vacuum

i just noticed my vaccum line from the waste gate solenoid was cracked off! and the other port had some foam left over what would happen if i ran the car like that? which i did, but berly noticed today!

You will have no control over how much boost the motor will see.

so what are the affects of that to much boost?

Yep. If the line comes off, it will over boost.

It's like the #1 reason people blow head gaskets.

so when i replace themm i should zip tie them down?

I would fix those lines asap ...didn't u say something bout rotted vacuum lines in an earlier post... they are so easy and important to fix...and make sure the vacuum tee is routed correctly... don't smash the pedal to the floor untill u replace and set those vac lines correctly.... u will overboost and blow something in ur engine eventually if u don't.....oh and yes zip tie all the vac lines...
