Indy Car Stage 2 intake setup

It comes with a plate to block off the pop-off valve. You'll have to find your own valve. :D

Indy Car Stage 2 intake setup

Selling my Indy Car Kinsler Stack / Fabricated plenum setup now that my car is gone. Two sets of stacks (one tall, one milled short. The short one should fit under a stock hood: the tall one is 13 inches tall and won't. Tall stacks pictured.) Both stacks set up for EFI, with one set of Indy...

109 Long block for sale in San Diego area

Hi, guys. I have my original 109 long block for sale. TRW stock bore forged pistons on stock crank and rods. Mildly ported heads with stock valves. Complete from pan to upper plenum, except for throttle body and injectors. Also has ATR SS headers (optional.) Ran 11.20 at 120 with a 60-1...

Can someone explain why stage II heads are not streetable?

Well...I hope you're ashamed to run those. Obviously they don't work for you. I mean, sh!t, 141 in a daily driver. I hope you've seen the error of your ways.

Can someone explain why stage II heads are not streetable?

Don, if you really think I didn't know that running a 222/218 HR cam in a street Buick wasn't the full potential for S2 heads, I guess I thought you thought a little more of me. I certainly don't remember you being so down on the idea at the time, but whatever. I don't appreciate the...

Can someone explain why stage II heads are not streetable?

Don, no I didn't know how you feel about Stage II heads. (I know you opted for the ones you have.) And I disagree. All the latest GM and aftermarket V8 heads are virtual copies of the 25-year-old S2 design. The new LS-3 and -7 look just like those Dart Buick V8 heads that were the sh!t some...

    Titanium valves- yes or no?

Back when I was putting my S2 together in 99-00, the conventional wisdom was to stay away from Ti valves for ANY street engine. Only AFTER I spent some significant coin on a set of stainless Ferrea's, did the word come from Kenny D. that, at relatively low spring pressures like I was running...

Stage 2 short block vs built stock short block.

And you said "please," too. ;)

Stage 2 short block vs built stock short block.

No other issues. No leaks. A little grinding on one oil pump screw boss and a corner of the Duttweiler pump to clear the block face. If using the stock accessory bracket, that needs to be milled the same amount.

1986 T-Type Stage II for sale

The end of an era. 21 years I've owned it, the last 9 or so with the Stage motor in it. It's on its way to Illinois. Had second thoughts right up to loading it on the truck. Thanks for the support and kind words about the car. Mac
