i have a question with residual fuel pressure. after running engine, and shut it off i noticed that my fuel pressure drops from 42 to zero, almost instantaneous. do the fuel pumps have an check valve to prevent residual pressure or do i have to remove the fuel rail and check for stuck open...

i'm looking for a used scanmaster, in the chicagoland area.

so i finished my engine, primed it, timed it. started the car, i had 45-50 psi at 2500 rpms, kept it running for 20-25 for cam break-in, now hot oil pressure is at almost zero. the oil light is not coming on, any ideas? can someone tell me what oil pressure each of the oil pressure springs are?

can someone tell me how the engine oil cooler lines are hooked up to the radiator, if the the one on the filter housing closer to the right right side fender goes to the top of the radiator, or the other way around. thanks
