According to most factory spec your wires are marginal...... .... for a motor with stock specs. If you're making any more than OE cylinder pressure, you need better wires. :cool:

I concur with GnTooFast4u The 12 bolt is lighter, but the 9" is marginally stronger. If it were me, I'd go 12 bolt. :cool:

IMO, I would not use a ring gear spacer.... ....especially if you are making any real power. Either buy the correct ring gear for your carrier (probably available aftermarket), or buy the correct carrier for your ring gear. That ring gear spacer will come back to bite ya in da butt when you...

The line size should be 3/16" Be sure they don't give you compression fittings to connect the lines together. If I might make a suggestion here, you may want to take it to a shop. A good shop will have the equipment and personnel do do this job right, and in much less time than you ever could...

I have used the baseball bat trick a few times.... ...actually a piece of 2" galvanized pipe works well too. :cool:

It's not critical 1/16"to 1/8" is about right. If you check it with a test light, you can see when the contacts close. :cool:

Battery cable and/or connections Given your symptoms, that is the only possible thing that could cause your problem, unless you have a battery with a broken connection inside. I have run across that before, but it's very rare, and about the only way to diagnose it is with an old style carbon...

Best bet for the the dead battery syndrome in cars that don't get used regularly... ...is a battery switch. It's a good theft deterrent too. Parasitic loss from keep-alive memory, radio memory, clocks, and any other type drains will drain a battery over time. :cool:
