Did you by any chance recently fill up the brake fluid reservoir?

Can you hear the FP prime the injectors when you turn the key? And (not be sarcastic at all) is there gas in it?

Do the valve springs. Big difference.

There's a button/post sticking out of the clear gauge plate/cover. You either turn it or pull it out. (can't remember) Heck, just mess with it. :redface:

Wow. I was actually right about something for once. :) All I think I know is that it won't start with the gas pedal floored on a cold start, but that will get the oil pump working. Others will have to tell you more as to why that worked. Maybe the lifters have to pump up. ? I dunno, but...

Hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank it for a couple of seconds on cold startup. Then take your foot off the gas and start it. Does it still do it?

They make a dye (or however you spell it) that you can add to tranny fluid. It shows up under ultraviolet light. Any tranny shop should have some - and the light. Might be a way to find out what kind of fluid it is. ?? Good luck.

Isn't there a (slight-moderate-big) health risk involved with that stuff? I know. I sound like a chicken-s..t old lady. But, it is kinda nasty stuff, right?
