    Gbodyparts.com Brian Weaver Arrested

I'm well aware of that story. I understand the opinions. Both parties made serious mistakes in their approach to the situation. Insurance companies should have been involved immediately. Without hesitation. -- Period. Then if necessary, lawyers. Regardless of him worrying about rates going...

    Gbodyparts.com Brian Weaver Arrested

Just heard about this. So I pop in to get a rough idea of what might have happened out of concern for an old acquaintance. And I'm instantly reminded of why I haven't been on the forum(s) in years.

Need help. No power (electrical) at all.

I found it. It was the damn cig lighter fuse. The rear interior is out because I'm getting ready to have the windows tinted and they prefer it to be out to do the best job possible. When I removed the rear interior lights, apparently the wires were touching on one side and popped the fuse...

Need help. No power (electrical) at all.

Ok, update. I never keyed the ignition on. Which I just did, and there is power. However, no security light flash, no interior lamps, and no under hood light. It's not fusible links, because I replaced and relocated all those with the kit from Casper's Electronics, and did a mighty fine...

Need help. No power (electrical) at all.

Hello folks, I have an problem. Car has been sitting for a while, and the battery tender died, so the battery eventually died. I just stuck a new battery in, and when to fire the car up to back it out of the garage. But right when I opened the door something went "click" or "pop" and...

    Issues with Stabil fuel stabilizer...

FYI.. I've heard numerous recommendations to use the Sta-Bil Marine formula, the blue stuff, rather than the regular red stuff. Reason being is that the blue is for fuel with ethanol in it, which most of our gasoline obviously has now. The red Sta-Bil is for non-ethanol fuels. Alcohol/ethanol...

Moser Axles, Problem with loose wheel studs

The axles come with both options. I stuck with the press-in, but Summit listed the wrong size.

Moser Axles, Problem with loose wheel studs

I've been poking around for information, and it looks like what happened is the studs are not the correct knurl size. Summit listed .485 which is not right. I just found out from a friend that his were .505, and also.. JEGS has them listed as .505. So the "way to go" goes to Summit for listing...

Moser Axles, Problem with loose wheel studs

I just ordered a set of the 28 spine c-clip axles to replace the stock axles (Part #A102808). Along with a set of ARP, .485 knurl press-in, 12mm x 1.5 studs (ARP-100-7710) (stock length). I just ordered them from Summit. I had a shop press the studs in, rather than beating them in, but...

    Cutting a heat shield

Thanks guys. I'll have to ask around some fab shops I guess. Not something I have the equipment to do myself.

    Cutting a heat shield

Is it possible to cut an already chrome plated turbo heat shield to clear a 3" DP without damaging the chrome? Anyone in the central FL area that can do this? Thanks,

    BOPC event in Gainesville

I plan on being there. Maybe running my car. Not positive yet. I'll be driving it, and it's about 2 hrs each way. My dad will probably run his Olds again if he gets the rear back in. (Broke it at the postponed event in Dec)
