Must haves for Low 10 Sec motor

It should be much less expensive to run a 3800 Series II or III . In stock form, the block is already capable of handling 9 second runs and the L32 v6 comes stock with forged rods. They also run smoother, come with a full roller setup, and the stock heads can be ported enough to outflow most...

You love your car more than me...

It's funny how most women are condescending about our passion for fast cars. But that still don't phase me and they know it:rolleyes: I'd rather be single and keep shooting women down than having to deal with that drama:cool:

Help! Stolen Turbo Regal in Memphis!

Good luck with the search. Even if you only find a shell, remember that ls motors and equally tough transmissions aren't tough to find and your car will hopefully get another lease on life. Just keep checking ebay, craigslist, and other sites for suspicious parts.

    Series II L67 Grand National??!!??

This is the route I'll be going with my TR soon. Since my motor already has a bad rod bearing, I might as well upgrade to a 3800 and never look back. Being able to go real fast while using way less boost sounds good to me!

    Blown 2011 v6 Mustang

No doubt that today's new v6 and v8 engines are tougher than ever. For a stock internal 5.0 to only go through an oil pump at 800 horsepower is nothing short of astonishing! Our 109's, even girdled, are very hard pressed to withstand that kind of power and it's very unlikely that anything is...

    Blown 2011 v6 Mustang

I saw the car on Craigslist since I live in NJ, but I liked what I saw. It doesn't surprise me at all that the v6 Mustangs are selling like crazy. With gas prices going up, I figured that people would prefer the v6's due to their potential for big power and stingy fuel mileage . But even the...

    Blown 2011 v6 Mustang

I took a look at that 2011 V6 Mustang for sale in NH and it looks really nice! Let us know if you end up buying it.

    Blown 2011 v6 Mustang

With a better flowing exhaust system, headers, and more tuning, I think this Mustang could make close to 400 lb.-ft. of torque. Remember this Mustang is almost stock. I'm sure the aftermarket will have more support for the v6's soon due to their obvious performance potential, even on motor.

    Blown 2011 v6 Mustang

Don't sweat it, John. I actually stumbled across that video while on youtube and figured you guys would be interested. I sure wish that was my car though!:D Anyway, I'd also love to see the 3.5 Ecoboost in a Mustang soon. The Taurus SHO is capable of mid 12's and it's almost 1,000 pounds...

    Blown 2011 v6 Mustang

The potential of modern v6's ,even naturally aspirated, is unbelievable! This mustang was even using the stock exhaust system, so there's a lot more where that came from;)

Building 1000 hp gn need some help

I'd go with a 3800 Series II or III if I were you. There are people running 8's using the stock block and crankshaft :cool: Good luck getting a 109 block to survive that kind of power, even with a girdle!

Here's a link to a dyno session of a new 3.7 V6 Mustang with an intercooled supercharger. On 91 octane gas with only 8 psi boost, it laid down 427 whp! What do you guys think? YouTube - Worlds First Supercharged 3.7L V6 Mustang Dyno Run
