I tried to different replacement headliners pre-made, and neither fit right. Finally bought the material kit from Jax and did it myself. Looks great. This works very well as long as your backerboard isn't damaged.

Yes. Plug and play. The translator is well worth the money. It plugs into the computer and so you don't have to cut any wires. You'd be splicing a bunch of small wires lying on your back on the passenger floor otherwise. It also allows you to simply unplug it and go back to stock if you ever...

Check the MAF especially if it's stock. My car stopped running for no reason like yours, and I replaced it with the LS1 maf and translator. Has run great ever since.

Good advice from a pro. being a do it yourselfer, I didn't have access to a steamer. In any case I wouldn't just put the new covers old old foam as is. I will tell you that the foam on the old British cars I restored was falling apart. Maybe the Brits used crappy foam. I guess I have to remind...

I've never done seats on a GN, but have done British cars and a couple old Impalas. If you want really good results, you need to replace the seat foams too. They may look OK but they have usually been compressed and have dried out. The covers wont' fit tight like they should, and you'll do so...

I've used WD40. Even though it's oily, it breaks down whatever is there. It will leave a light colored spot on the driveway, but that goes away in few days especially if it's sunny.
