I solved the problem with no start. removed cam sensor, the gear pin was broken. replace with new cam sensor, set up the sensor, started on first twist of the key. i has luck with gear staying on shaft when removing the old sensor. thanks for all the help.

t-top If you have after market t-tops, i would think that a after market t-top company ( installer ), could look at your set up and see what brand they are and help you out. There are a few after market company in my area that deal with all types of car add on's. good luck

t-tops Are you talking about the weather stripping that goes on the T-top, held down with two screws ?? You need to make them as long as you can stretch them out ( slots ) to fill up the gap. I just did my last month, help alittle. I did get my off of E-bay ( GM ) I hope this will help.

I had the same problem, installed a momentary switch on the ground wiring going to the gauge. After starting engine, just push in the button for a second, gauge will reset. I put my switch next to the gauge in the gauge pod.

the steering column ignition is cover by the guard, only reason i got the guard to cover the key opening. Paul
