what i'd do is look for a 4th gen Camaro or firebird with the 3.8L Series 2 engines; and grab both the trans and engine from them....just my opinion lol. i'm not sure what other RWD GM from 90s got the S2 engines, but didnt the GTO redo have v8s?

hmmm interesting. I'll have to take the DD to a bodyshop for the old ones' advices in person; as that is usually the best way to determine to what extend the refinish or restoration needs to; as taking pictures does not really do the car justice; it just looks a little faded up top in pictures...
